Morgenessen gab es unter dem Mangobaum. Wir planten eine Schiffstour in der Katherine Gorge, aber oh weh, die n\u00e4chste Tour ging erst 4 Stunden sp\u00e4ter. So what? Nach einem kurzen Preisvergleich mit einem Heliflug fuhren wir zu n\u00e4chstem Anbieter. Nach kurzem Warten im kleinen B\u00fcro erschien ein junger Mann und nach Abwicklung der Formalit\u00e4ten ging er kurzhand sein Hemd wechseln und stellte sich als unser Pilot heraus. In Wettingen aufgewachsen reiste sie jung schon durch dieses faszinierenende Land und wohnt unterdessen bereits das halbe Leben mit ihrer Familie in Australien. Ein sehr bewegter Abschnitt als Rangerfamilie mit zwei Jungs. Bei feiner Lasagne und Rotwein war der schweizerdeutsche Abend sehr kurzweilig bis tief in die Nacht.
